Recently, Professor Mengsheng Qiu was appointed as the associate editor of the internationally renowned academic magazine Journal of Neuroscience. The journal, founded in 1981, is the flagship of the American Society for Neuroscience (SfN) and one of the top journals in the field of neuroscience. It currently appears in JCR Q1 of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Committed to publishing the latest researches in the field of neuroscience, its topics vary from behavioral/cognitive, cellular/molecular to development/plasticity/repair, neurobiology of disease and systems/circuits. It values scientific studies that reflect unbiased and repeatable experiments, methods, procedures, analysis, and reporting to advance the field of neuroscience. Professor Mengsheng Qiu is one of the few Chinese mainland scholars appointed as the associate editor of the journal.
