On November 13, a delegation from Kharkiv National University, led by President Tetyana Kaganovska, visited Hangzhou Normal University and was warmly welcomed by the university’s Party Secretary Guo Dongfeng and Vice President Hu Hua. The two sides reviewed the progress of their collaboration, particularly regarding the joint Kharkiv Institute, and discussed future plans.

Guo Dongfeng highlighted the smooth and fruitful cooperation between the two universities in recent years, emphasizing HZNU’s commitment to deepening the partnership and supporting the development of the KI’s collaborative mechanisms. President Kaganovska expressed appreciation for the partnership, reaffirming KNU’s dedication to maintaining high teaching standards and ensuring KI’s success.

A joint management committee meeting was held to address key issues, including academic collaboration, research initiatives, and student exchange programs. The Ukrainian delegation also observed a class conducted by KNU’s faculty and engaged with students and teachers from KI, providing constructive feedback and strengthening mutual confidence in future collaborations.

This visit further deepened the friendship and enhanced the confidence between the two universities, fostering innovative educational approaches and a shared commitment to cultivating high-quality talent with global perspectives.
