On the morning of July 9, Hangzhou Normal University held the grand graduation and degree awarding ceremony, which saw 3972 undergraduates, 944 master students and 2 doctoral students complete their studies and receive their diplomas.

The university leadership, led by Secretary Chen Chunlei, attended the ceremony. And President and Academician Shang Yongfeng delivered a speech –“Stay Committed amid World Changes”. He told the graduates that the road to success is not crowded, and success is not unachievable, but they need to have long-term persistence as well as diligence and wisdom. He called on them to stick to the truth and faith in the world of rapid change.

The ceremony, unveiled by the Chinese national anthem, was held in a main venue and several sub venues on campus as well as online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. And graduates, faculty, family and friends, who were unable to attend the gathering, shared the joyous moment. 

HZNU wishes all the graduates a fruitful future while they embark on a new journey of life.
